VERRE FILÉ DE NEVERS : RECHERCHES RÉCENTES AUTOUR DES COLLECTIONS DU MUSÉE DES ARTS DÉCORATIFS

Les figurines en verre travaillé à la lampe, dites « verre filé de Nevers » des XVIIᵉ et XVIIIᵉ siècles, illustrent l’excellence technique et la créativité des verriers français. Les collections du musée des Arts décoratifs de Paris conservent un corpus représentatif de ces pièces, offrant un panorama des formes, des usages et des innovations stylistiques. Cette conférence présentera les recherches récentes sur le verre filé à travers l’analyse de ces chefs-d’œuvre. Elle permettra de replacer Nevers au cœur du réseau des centres verriers européens et de mesurer son influence dans l’histoire des arts décoratifs français.
