Set up thanks to the patronage of Sakurako and William Fisher, in honour of Hélène David-Weill and Maggie Bult, this new cabinet offers the public access to collections that are among the richest in the world. 200,000 drawings, 400,000 wallpapers, 350,000 phototypes: almost a million works are now kept in new in situ storerooms and can be consulted in this new space. 

Researchers, artists and hobbyists can now consult the works individually, by appointment. 

Several times a year, special exhibitions are organised to show visitors the wealth of these collections and the discoveries they make. The inaugural exhibition is devoted to the decorator Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann.
